Renault Trucks cleans up at Hydro-Cleansing Ltd.

Croydon based waste management Company, Hydro-Cleansing Ltd has taken delivery of four 6x4, Euro 5, Renault Lander 450.26 trucks and two new 5.5 tons Renault Master vans, through Renault Trucks Essex. They are the latest additions to a growing Renault Trucks fleet.

Two of the 26 tonne Renault Premium Landers have been fitted with moving partitions, 6 inch suction booms with 270° rotation and high volume jetting. The remaining two are fitted with 6 inch booms, high volume jetting and have a fixed partition holding 1000 gallons of water, meaning each vehicle can hold a total capacity of 3000 gallons.

The units will be used to empty pumping stations, sewers, pit holes and shafts and oil interceptors over the entire South East of England. They will also undertake emergency response and general maintenance for clients such as Thames Water and Southern Water, as well as many other domestic customers and blue chip organisations.

The new Renault Masters have been completely bespoke fitted with panelling 12v and 240v inside, night heaters inside and a high pressure jetting unit.

Steve Hoad, Managing Director, Hydro Cleansing Ltd., says “In the five years Hydro-Cleansing has dealt with Renault Trucks, the level of service that we have received from them has been second to none. If the stores do not have the parts required, we have had motorbike couriers bring the parts to us, the same day, within the hour. HCL needs this response and level of dedication from Renault Trucks to maintain its emergency response to its customers.”

“Our business is often about protecting the environment,” he adds. “We wanted to reduce our emissions as much as possible. Our aim is to lead the way in our industry by being the first to use Euro 5 compliant tankers and vans.”

Established in 2000, Hydro-Cleansing Ltd. is an independent company, based in Croydon. It offers waste management services to the whole of the South East, including drainage and CCTV surveys, tanker operations, emergency and flood response, industrial cleaning, confined space working, waste and sewage management, pumps and hydro-blasting. The company has 15 vehicles on its fleet and employs over 35 people.
