Leading its category of vehicles in terms of fuel consumption, the Renault Premium Long Distance also boasts a number of other qualities that set it apart. To highlight these, Renault Truck Commercials UK, the private network belonging to Renault Trucks, has set up a huge promotional and demonstration campaign that will cover the entire United Kingdom involving 10 vehicles. And to give these an even higher profile, they will be decked out in the colours of the British - or Welsh - flag, depending on where they will be seen. This is how the Premium Long Distance comes to be sporting the Union Jack or the Welsh Dragon on its cab so that it can not only claim to be the most fuel-efficient truck on the road, but also the one with the most attractive decoration!

To promote the Renault Premium Long Distance, Renault Truck Commercials UK did not think twice about decorating 10 of its vehicles in the colours of the British and Welsh flags. Boasting their attractive and patriotic markings, these proud trucks will be driving the length and breadth of the United Kingdom to highlight all the qualities of the Premium Long Distance and the Optifuel Programme - which combines software for measuring and analysing consumption (Optifuel Infomax), instruction in rational driving (Optifuel Training) and access to an Internet site providing advice and long term support (Club Optifuel Programme).

The trucks concerned are Premium Long Distance Euro V 480 hp vehicles fitted with a DXi11 and a robotised Optidriver+ gearbox in a 6x2 configuration with a high "Privilege" cab. Over 80 demonstrations have already been planned at various RTC sites in Bristol, Cardiff, Nuneaton, Dunstable, Exeter, Felixstowe, London, Reading, Tipton, Wellingborough and West Thurrock.
