As the specialist of the construction business, it will come as no surprise to see Renault Trucks at the Intermat Show from April 20th to 25th 2009 (stand 6C 079). The manufacturer will be presenting its range via three major themes: sturdiness, payload and pulling power. Renault Trucks has chosen Intermat to present two new versions of the Premium Lander as a world premier: its 8 x 2*6 profile and the extra-light cement mixer.
At the show, Renault Trucks will be meeting its construction sector customers and showing them construction range vehicles which are suitable to each type of need in their individual businesses, satisfying their demand for sturdiness, payload or pulling power.
• With a view to offering optimal solutions to its customers, the new 8 x 2*6 profile of the Renault Premium Lander will be unveiled at a World Premier at Intermat. This new model increases payload by 500kg, offers better handling thanks to a 12.5% enhanced turning circle and fuel consumption gains which can be as much as 10% compared to an 8 x 4 vehicle.
• Intermat will also see the first appearance of the Premium Lander 8 x 4 extra-light mixer with a Liebherr revolving drum. Thanks to the Good Year Omnitrack SD tyre mounting, it also gains in payload for urban transportation of concrete (250kg). Like the new Premium Lander 8 x 2*6, it offers greater profitability (fewer rotations due to higher transport capacity and reduced consumption).
For these two vehicles, the ZS mechanical gearbox and the robotised Optidriver+ gearbox have been enhanced to better meet the reliability requirements of our customers.
• Also on the French truck manufacturer’s stand will be the Renault Kerax 6 x 6 tipper. Guaranteeing maximum pulling power and mobility, this vehicle is adapted to extreme uses (closed sites where weather conditions change constantly). This Kerax 6 x 6 is available in two versions: permanent or non-permanent (possibility of alternating between the 6 x 4 and 6 x 6.
• The Renault Trucks stand at the Intermat Show at Villepinte will also be featuring the Renault Mascott BTP Pro-Tipper (CIF) public works and construction model and the Renault Kerax 500.45 8 x 4 – Tipper Major Works (Marrel). A Renault Kerax Cape-to-Cape 450 6 x 6 – Container for rally assistance applications will also be present, bearing the colours of the current expedition whose ambition is to show the Kerax’s reliability and sturdiness.
Finally, so as to simplify things for its customers, Renault Trucks is proposing a whole range of “ready to use” vehicles which are already bodied and ready to go on the road. In the same vein, the manufacturer offers a large range of services such as the Optifuel Programme, comprising the Optifuel training course (training in rational driving) and the Optifuel Infomax software package (in particular allowing fuel consumption analyses). This programme, applicable to the construction business, proves that even on work sites it is possible to make fuel savings.
