Renault Trucks will be taking part in the 121st edition of the French National Federation of Firefighters’ Convention taking place from 1 to 4 October 2014. During this event, a forum for specialists in civil security, Renault Trucks, market leader with a 70% market share, will be displaying its new Euro 6 firefighting range devoted to rescue and firefighting activities.
Renault Trucks will be exhibiting at the Avignon Exhibition Park from 1 to 4 October 2014, for the 121st edition of the French National Federation of Firefighters’ Convention.
At this event, it will be displaying its new range of Euro 6 Fire and rescue vehicles, together with its associated technologies on a stand of more than 600 m².
Five vehicles will be on display:
- Renault Trucks D Cab 2m
- Renault Trucks D Cab 2,1m FPTL (Light fire tender)
- Renault Trucks D Cab 2,1m CCF (Forest fire tender)
- Renault Trucks D Cab 2,1m CCR (Rural fire tender)
- Renault Trucks K crew cab (prototype vehicle)
Leader on the French Fire and rescue vehicle market with a share of over 70%, Renault Trucks aims to demonstrate its ongoing commitment to firefighters during the convention.
In France, Renault Trucks has set up a bodybuilder service (Firefighting and street maintenance bodybuilding - CIV) with a specific branch dedicated to firefighting. This enables the manufacturer to swiftly meet the various needs of bodybuilders in this field as well as Regional firefighting and rescue services (SDIS), giving them the advantage of being able to communicate with a single supplier.
Renault Trucks is offering a fully comprehensive new range to meet firefighters’ needs with 4x2, 6x4, 8x4 and 6x2 vehicles, as well as 4x4, 6x6 and 8x8 all-wheel drive vehicles specifically designed for firefighting and rescue operations.
With its 350 sales and service outlets, Renault Trucks provides the most extensive aftersales network in France, together with an innovative service offering, particularly focused on meeting the needs of firefighters with, for example, driving instruction for negotiating rough terrain.

The Firefighters’ Convention is open to the public from Wednesday 1 October (from 2 PM to 7 PM), Thursday 2 October (from 8:30 AM to 7 PM), Friday 3 October (from 8:30 AM to 7 PM) and Saturday 4 October (from 8:30 AM to 12 PM).
Entrance is free for visitors.
