Renault Trucks and WFP return to Uganda
For the first time in five years, Renault Trucks has developed a new training session for future trainers within the World Food Programme that they will deliver from 26 to 30 June in Kampala, the capital of Uganda.
The city of Kampala is a symbol for this partnership since it is where the first mechanics training session took place in 2012.
Julie Marconnet, CSR and Partnerships manager in Renault Trucks, explains: "This new course complements the content covered in previous trainings for the World Food Programme staff. It will empower WFP’s trainers to train and manage their own fleet technicians autonomously. The relationships we have created with this branch of the UN are strong and show the important value we bring in finding solutions for our partners’ challenges.”
