Heavy-duty vehicles repairing on the agenda of WFP staff in Niger

Within the framework of the partnership between the World Food Programme and Renault Trucks, 10 staff members from the UN agency coming from five different countries will be trained to heavy duty vehicles repairing. Two Renault Trucks volunteers from Lyon, France, will be in Niamey early November (from 11/2rd to 11/8th) to strengthen WFP local action by passing on their knowledge and skills.

WFP has been present in Niger since 1968. WFP's assistance focuses on the vulnerable and very poor populations affected by food insecurity and high malnutrition.
