20 WFP agents trained to fleet management in DRC

Within the frame of its second partnership with the U.N. agency, Renault Trucks volunteers delivered end of May their first training session to 20 World Food Programme fleet managers in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo.

WFP has been fighting hunger in DRC since 1973 where 10 percent of the population is in a situation of acute food insecurity today. Most of these food-insecure people live in the conflict-affected provinces of eastern DRC.
