Less than six months after presenting its new range, Renault Trucks is now delivering its first vehicles to customers in Europe. In France, the STAF company has just taken delivery of its first Renault Trucks T models. These four vehicles are T High Sleeper Cabs with a flat floor and a 520 hp DTI 13 Euro 6 engine. They are fitted with all the latest features designed to give drivers the highest level of comfort, safety and wellbeing on board. The keys were officially presented to the customer by Bruno Blin, the President of Renault Trucks and Marc Martinez, Managing Director of Renault Trucks France, on the manufacturer’s stand during the Solutrans show.
Renault Trucks presented the keys to the first four of its Renault Trucks T vehicles to the STAF transport company during the Solutrans 2013 tradeshow. These were the very first deliveries of the new long distance vehicle to a customer. Bruno Blin, the Renault Trucks President and Marc Martinez, Managing Director of Renault Trucks France, presented the keys to Kara Mendjel, Chairman and CEO of STAF on the manufacturer’s stand at the Solutrans show on Wednesday 20 November.
“The Renault Trucks T meets the demands of refrigerated transport for retail distribution, particularly in terms of reliability,” comments Kara Mendjel. “Furthermore, the extremely roomy cab enables my drivers to work under optimal conditions.”
“Kara Mendjel placed an order for four Renault Trucks T vehicles without even having driven one,” stresses Bruno Blin. “This is a huge mark of confidence on his part and Renault Trucks will show itself to be more than worthy of it.” Marc Martinez highlighted the excellent relationship Renault Trucks has with STAF and its CEO: “Kara Mendjel is a loyal customer and our relationship is strong and long-lasting. He is uncompromising when it comes to vehicle quality and he always wants the best for his drivers. The Renault Trucks T with its flat cab floor and the comfort pack he has chosen will, I am sure, meet their highest expectations.”
