The seventh Truck Racing season weekend, at the Most track in the Czech Republic, ended with two podium places for the Renault Trucks-MKR Technology team. Renault Trucks also took advantage of this much awaited event to organise an exclusive presentation of its new range of vehicles to the public and its customers in the Czech Republic.
Still enjoying summer temperatures, the Renault Trucks - MKR Technology team earned itself two podium places during the seventh Truck Racing event of the current season at Most in the Czech Republic.
Adam Lacko gave the Renault Trucks-MKR Technology team two excellent second places on Saturday in the 2nd race and on Sunday in the 4th race. The team continued to build up points for the championship throughout the weekend. In terms of the driver championship, Adam Lacko is still in 6th place overall with 160 points while Markus Bösiger has maintained his ranking of 7th with 133 points. The Renault Trucks-MKR Technology team has consolidated its 3rd position in the team championship rankings with 349 points.
This seventh event of the Truck Racing season at Most was above all marked by the launch of the manufacturer’s new range of vehicles in the Czech Republic. On Friday evening, 230 guests flocked to the Renault Trucks paddock and VIP tent to attend a gala dinner, followed by a private concert. They were also able to visit the vehicle exhibition which, for the first time in the Czech Republic, displayed the Renault Trucks T, C, K and D ranges.
Renault Trucks took up some 1,500 m² of the Most track (VIP tent, boutique and vehicle exhibition). The manufacturer’s VIP area altogether welcomed some 1,300 guests from the Czech Republic, but also from Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Germany and Norway. On the Sunday, the manufacturer organised a unique parade of 20 of its vehicles for the spectators during the break between the races. Finally, the public had the opportunity to get their first close-up view of the vehicles in the new range throughout the weekend in the display area next to the track.
The next Truck Racing event will take place on 21 and 22 September at Zolder in Belgium.
