The current Truck Racing season's third meeting took place on 15 and 16 June on the Paul Armagnac track at Nogaro (France). 35,000 spectators, including 250 customers invited by Renault Trucks, were there to watch the European Truck Racing Championship events. The Renault Trucks-MKR Technology team drivers, Markus Bösiger and Adam Lacko, rounded off the weekend in style with a very fine one-two win in the fourth race.

This victory is all the more significant because, the day before, the two Renault Trucks-MKR Technology drivers were forced to abandon the event after a spectacular crash in the first lap of the first race. Following a change of line by a rival, Adam Lacko's truck ran off the track and span around, violently impacting the team's second truck. As a result, the Renault Trucks-MKR Technology team's mechanics had to work through part of the night on the Saturday to rebuild the two vehicles. On Sunday, the team's two trucks, freshly repaired, finished in 7th and 8th place at the end of the third race. A few hours, and a few adjustments, later they were the first two over the line in the final event.

This result means Adam Lacko from the Renault Trucks-MKR Technology is now ranked 6th in the overall rankings with 71 points and Markus Bösiger ranked 8th with 53 points.  Renault Trucks looks forward to meeting its fans and customers for the next race, at Spielberg in Austria, on 6 and 7 July.
