A pioneer and leader in the field of fuel savings, Renault Trucks will be taking part in the 25th edition of Pollutec, an international trade show for environmental equipment, technologies and services in Lyon from 27 to 30 November on stands G082 and F082.

Renault Trucks will be exhibiting a 32t 8x4*4 430 hp Premium Lander Tridem fitted with a sewer-flusher type body as well as a 140 hp Maxity equipped with a mini combo sewer-flusher.

Renault Trucks will be presenting its All For Fuel Eco approach and its Optifuel Solutions designed to significantly and sustainably reduce the fuel consumption of vehicles operated by its customers. These tools can be used by all types of company, whatever their size or activity. They are built around four main themes: vehicle configuration, driver training, long-term fuel consumption measurement and analysis and reducing fuel consumption throughout the vehicle's operating life.

An interactive terminal will be available to provide information about all vehicles running on energies other than Diesel currently supplied by Renault Trucks: the Renault Maxity Electric (all-electric), the Premium Distribution Hybrys Tech (hybrid) and the Premium Distribution CNG (natural gas).

Renault Trucks will also be presenting the technology it has chosen for its engines to comply with the future Euro VI standard to be applied to vehicles registered from 1 January 2014. To comply with this new standard, the manufacturer has used different technologies and chosen the one which is most efficient for each engine size and application.

The manufacturer's aim is quite straightforward: to provide its customers with engines complying with the Euro VI standard that deliver high levels of performance in terms of consumption, reliability and maintenance.

Finally, visitors will be able to discover the various applications Renault Trucks makes available for smartphones. These include Trucks Fuel Eco Driving, a game which offers an opportunity to discover the basic principles of economic driving at the wheel of a Premium Optifuel. This can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store (http://bit.ly/PzXmxQ) and Google Play (http://bit.ly/PzXBZM). The new version of Nav’Truck which provides drivers with eco-driving advice in real-time will also be demonstrated.
