During the IAA motor show, the President of Renault Trucks, Heinz-Jürgen Löw, announced that all the manufacturer's ranges are to be renewed in June 2013. At the same time, Peter Karlsten, Executive Vice President of EMEA Sales and Marketing within the Volvo Group, restated the importance attached to the identity of each one of the Group's five brands. He also stressed "the great opportunities for Renault Trucks to take a stronger position globally". The comprehensive renewal of its ranges should go a long way towards achieving this goal.
It was on the Renault Trucks stand during the IAA 2012 motor show that Peter Karlsten, Executive Vice President of EMEA Sales and Marketing within the Volvo Group, made a statement in which he described the Volvo Group's aim of fully exploiting the potential of the five Group brands (Renault Trucks, Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, UD Trucks and Eicher). "The strength of our brands represents an enormous asset for the Volvo Group", he stated. "Each has its unique heritage and characteristics, its distinctive customer relations, service network and product line". As far as Renault Trucks is concerned, Peter Karlsten was unequivocal: "The Volvo Group and I see tremendous potential in the Renault Trucks brand and we are very excited about the growth opportunities".
The comprehensive renewal of the Renault Trucks ranges also announced by its President Heinz-Jürgen Löw was perfectly in line with these declarations. In June 2013, Renault Trucks will be renewing its Long Distance, Construction and Distribution ranges.
