In Hungary, the division for national protection against catastrophes has just taken delivery of 11 new Renault Kerax fire tender sold by Renault Trucks’ Hungarian subsidiary. The order includes nine Kerax 4x4 430 hp, 19 tons with 7,000 litres capacity and two Kerax 6x4 460 hp, 26 tons with 9,000 litres capacity. The vehicles are to be used by the fire services, who were closely involved in fighting floods in 2010.
Hungarian firefighters have just taken delivery of 11 new Kerax fire tender from Renault Trucks. They were officially handed over by the Hungarian interior minister, Sándor Pintér, to the top brass of the division for national protection against catastrophes. The vehicles are all Renault Kerax FPT. Nine of them are 6x4 430 hp, 19 ton, 7,000 litre tank configuration, and two are 6x4, 460 hp, 26 ton, 9,000 litre water tank configuration. They were bodied by BM Heros Zrt, Renault Trucks’ traditional partner in Hungary for fire vehicles and leader on the market segment.
In Hungary, Renault Trucks accounts for a fleet of 180 Midlum, Kerax and Premium Distribution fire service vehicles. Thanks to faultless collaboration with local bodiers, the manufacturer is able to propose tanker, ladder, fire truck or rapid intervention vehicles.
