Renault Adventure at the ready: the Cape-to-Cape Sherpa is unveiled
For 2009, Renault Trucks has taken up a new challenge: getting from the Northern Cape in Norway to Capetown in South Africa in 16 weeks. 30,000 kilometres, 21 countries visited and 60 adventurers ready to take on the four elements thanks to the technology developed by the French manufacturer. All this on board the 12 trucks – 6 Renault Keraxes and 6 Cape-to-Cape Sherpas. On Friday October 31st for its first official appearance in the Lyon area, the first of these 6 exceptional vehicles delivered some impressive technical performances during fording exercises as a prelude to the obstacles that await it on the Cape-to-Cape expedition.
